True Confession of Hatter

A lot has been written about how wearing hats will change your mood. Less has been written, particularly by hat boosters, about the reluctance to wear hats for fear of looking foolish. It’s confession time. Sometimes I’m self-conscience about wearing hats and sometimes I’m not. If, when, and which hat is an indication of how I am feeling at that moment, not an intent to change my mood. Here’s what I’ve learned.

If I am looking backwards at what my younger-man, more narrowly defined and geographically insular (hatless suburban Detroit) notions of what being "cool" were, I’m self-conscience in hats. If I am looking forward, feeling expansive, and accepting my reinvented self (aren’t we reinventing ourselves all the time?), I feel good in a hat.There’s a direct correlation between growing more self-confident and wearing hats. Put another way, the functionality – I definitely need the sun protection - and simple entertainment value of wearing hats trumps any fear of looking foolish.

The bad news is that I do not wear hats all the time, every day. The good news is that I am wearing hats much more often, as time goes on.

Too many hats..intend to let it go for those who appreciate it but i like it so much:(

This retro trucker cap i bought it 2 years ago in taipei realised that i havent been wearing this design since then it has been in my cabinet for quite some time so i intend to sell it off...i wonder if anyone is keen on buying it since is unique & retro with mini sparkling rounded sticker on it.."bling bling"
